Happy Software Developer

About

Motivation

I'm a friendly driven developer. I'm open and communicate easily with all layers within an organisation. As a senior I can take the lead, but also deliberately let a junior learn and discover by itself. I'm critical with a positive attitude. Focus on customer and result. I can address complex issues/improvements and subsequently focus on the solution. I get my satisfaction out of realising small user stories that can go live quickly, with loosing the dot on the horizon out of my sight. Finally I posess an overdose of sense of responsibilty, making me an ideal developer within a DevOps team.

Attitude

Indepedent, team player, DevOps-er, exoteric, result-oriented, passion for new technology (studious), accurate, flexible.

Interests

Domotica, IoT, Arduino/Raspberry Pi, United States of America, Netflix, Hiking

Ideal project

I gladly stay in Utopia, so my agile DevSecOps project has a concerned Product Owner an we work with Kanban on an event driven microservices architecture.

The Product Owner, together with the rest of the team, takes care of a continously filled and prioritised backlog, which contains small user stories. The developers work in pairs on one of those stories. The developed functionality is built, tested and deployed fully automated on an orchestrated container environment. The architecture enables you to quickly offer new features to the users. By keeping things small you get focus, minimise dependencies and shorter lead times.
